Graveside services for 62-year-old Karen Sue Blane, of Herndon, will be 1 PM Sunday at Powell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at the grounds.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
Survivors include:
Husband of 34 years, Mike Blane, of Herndon;
Son, Jared Blane, of Lafayette;
Daughter, Jamie Blane, of Herndon;
Two brothers, Butch (Gayla) Thompson, of Crofton, and Roger (Rhonda) Thompson, of Cadiz;
Two sisters, Linda Parker, of Oak Grove, and Ann Thompson, of Hopkinsville, KY;
And four grandchildren.
Blane died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.
She was born August 23, 1961, in Greenwood, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Granville Thompson and Martha Ann Norman Marion. She retired from Probation and Parole of Hopkinsville and was working as an administrative assistant at Denso.
She attended Concord Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna McGehee.
