Funeral Services for 57-year-old Rev. Thommy Brooks of Cadiz will be Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist Missionary Church. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist Missionary Church.
Burial will be on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY with military honors.

Rev. Thommy Brooks was born in Moulton, AL on January 29, 1966, to Charles Davis Brooks and Mary Ella Rush Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Priscilla Brooks, Anzelle Yarbrough, and Dorris Johnson.
He passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Rev. Thommy Brooks was a US Army Veteran, had worked at MSSC in Hopkinsville, was a member of the Second Baptist Missionary Church where he served as the Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, Director of the Van ministry, did custodial work, and a member of the Male and Mass Choirs.
