Tiffany Mumford-Brame has resigned her seat on the Christian County School Board, effective immediately.
The school district made the announcement in a media release on Friday. No reason was given for her resignation.
Mumford-Brame was elected in 2020 to represent District 2 which includes the southeast side of Christian County including Pembroke and Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary Schools.
The acceptance of her resignation will be voted on at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting on October 19.
The vacancy will then be advertised for two weeks.
Interested applicants should complete the application and submit a letter of intent to the Board of Education affirming they meet all eligibility requirements to fill the vacancy.
