Wanda J. Orange, age 87, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will be Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Orange was born on July 17, 1936, in Golden Pond, KY, the daughter of the late Paul and Edith Poindexter. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Orange; her sister, Dorothy Ann Glass; and her great-grandson, Liam Louis Jones.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana Cannon Henson (Tim) of Hopkinsville, Joann Jordan (Jeff) of Allegre, KY; her brother, William Franklin of Louisville, KY; her sister, Linda Rogers Toomer (Marvin) of Hopkinsville; her grandchildren, Chris Hall, Amanda Jordan, Alexandra Wimberly, Kyle Henson; her great-grandson Lennox Cole Jones; and her nephew, William Paul Franklin (Tina) of Louisville, KY.
