Graveside services for 73-year old Raymond Zigelhofer of Hopkinsville will be Wednesday, October 18, at 9:00 am at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Hughart, Beard, and Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
Ray was a retired Master Diesel Mechanic and a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army who devoted his life to caring for his family. Ray lived a full life while pursuing his hobby of photography and spending time with his grandchildren. Those who knew him well, understood how much he enjoyed a hearty debate on any topic and was never shy to share his point of view.
Those he left behind to celebrate his life include his daughter Brigitte Zigelhofer and fiancé Arturo Garibay of Las Cruces, NM, his son CW2 Adam Zigelhofer, U.S. Army (Ret.) and his wife Jessica of Pembroke, KY, three grandchildren, Marcus Inglemon and spouse Jazmyn of Las Cruces, Lillian and Lance Zigelhofer of Pembroke, his sister LaOna Doljanin and her husband Pete of Sacramento, CA, his brother John (Arthur) Zigelhofer of Bend, OR and several nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his parents Claire and Louise Zigelhofer. In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by his sister Norma Jean Zigelhofer, beloved daughter Crystal Zigelhofer and his best friend Max. Graveside Services will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
