Overcast skies and some scattered sprinkles didn’t dampen the spirit for the final day of the Trigg County Country Ham Festival as the parade made a return to close out the events.
Cadiz On Main Director Brianna Hyde says there were 59 entries in the parade Sunday afternoon that started at Trigg County Schools and made its way through downtown Cadiz to the stoplight at West Cadiz Park.

click to download audioThe parade was led by Grand Marshalls Craig, Stephanie, and Shannon Perry, who were named the 2023 Spirit of the Ham Festival Thursday during the Ham Festival Kickoff Breakfast. Stephanie said they were honored to lead the parade Sunday afternoon.
click to download audioInstead of an entry fee participants were asked to bring a canned food item for the Helping Hands organization. Hyde says she was impressed by the generosity.
