The bond reduction request for a Hopkinsville man accused of shooting another man in the foot earlier this year was denied Wednesday morning.
Steven Black is accused of shooting Samuel Sivils in the foot on August 8 during some type of altercation. Hopkinsville Police said Sivils was dropped off at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with the gunshot injury.
Black’s attorney, Eric Bearden, requested his client be released on an ankle monitor.
