The Trigg County Wildcat Marching Band is headed to the state semi-finals after qualifying during the class 2-A quarter-finals on Saturday.
The Trigg County band finished fifth in competition Saturday at Warren East High School. That allowed the band to compete in the KMEA semi-finals on Saturday at 11:15 at Bowling Green High School. The band will compete for a chance to be in the top six bands performing at Western Kentucky University Smith Stadium on Saturday night in the finals.
The band is under the direction of Andrew Mroch. The band will hold a practice performance on Friday at 6:00 at Trigg County High School’s Perdue Field.
