A home on Kirkpatrick Street in Hopkinsville was destroyed in a fire Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say they were called for a report of a fire just after 6 p.m. and found flames and smoke coming from the home when they arrived. Two people who were inside the home were able to get out uninjured. Firefighters say the cause of the fire was unknown.
The family will be displaced due to the damage and the American Red Cross was called to help them.
The home is located at the intersection of Poston Avenue.
