A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly assaulted a woman on Glass Avenue Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 40-year-old William Comperry got into a fight with the woman over possibly messaging another man and he punched her in the face and put her in a headlock.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
