There will be no services at this time for 81-year-old David D. Mitchell, of Big Rock, Tennessee, and formerly of Trigg County.
Burial will take place at a later date in Trigg County’s Peyton Thomas Cemetery.
Survivors include:
Two sons, Mark Mitchell, of Princeton, and David Alan Mitchell of Cadiz;
Five grandchildren, six great grandchildren;
And a sister, Nancy Ezell, of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born February 23, 1942, in Trigg County, the son of late Robert Edgar “Edd” Mitchell and Ada Irene Miller Mitchell.
He previously worked at Elk Brand Manufacturing in Cadiz for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, raising his garden and spending time with his grandchildren.
