Kenneth “Ken” Vaughn, 64, of Crofton, KY died at 9:55 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Living Hope Baptist Church Eagle Way Campus with Bro. Donald Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Lanier Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Living Hope Baptist Church. The family is encouraging everyone to wear UK apparel. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Empire, KY he was born April 5, 1959 the son of the late Henry Reno Vaughn and Audrey Lee West Vaughn. He owned and operated Ken Vaughn’s Home Comfort from 1991 – 2022.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Keith Vaughn.
Survivors include the mother of his children: Pamela Rogers Vaughn; his daughters: Amber Nicole Vaughn Burr and Christina Carol Vaughn (Jeremiah) Johnson both of Crofton, KY; his brother: Charles Reno “Chucky” (Connie) Vaughn of Michigan; his sister: Lisa Carol (Gerald) Fowler of Crofton, KY; his grandchildren: Brendon Epperson, Michael Epperson, Autumn Epperson, Olivia Burr, Evan Johnson, Josee Johnson, Breana Johnson, and Ava Johnson; his great grandchildren: Paisley, Brinleigh, and Jayden; and his beloved nephew: Ted Rogers of Hopkinsville, KY.
