A Hopkinsville woman was cited to court for harboring a vicious animal after her dog bit someone on South Iris Drive Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say two dogs owned by 43-year-old Dorothy Hatcher were chasing people and one had bit a neighbor’s leg.
One of the dogs reportedly charged at law enforcement and they fired a shot hitting the dog. The dog fled the area and has not been located by police or the owner.
Hatcher was cited for harboring a vicious animal.
