A Beattyville man was charged after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and choked her during an argument at Ashwood Village Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Karl Bailey punched his girlfriend and choked her to the point that she lost consciousness during an argument.
He was located in the area of Forest Park Boulevard and arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. He was also found to have warrants for failure to appear and probation violation.
