A home on Southwind Drive in Hopkinsville was damaged in a fire Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says a fire started in the garage with a space heater damaging several items in the garage.
The fire damage was contained to the garage with smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.
The owner was able to get out of the home uninjured. The home is located at 526 Southwind Drive.
