Three people were flown to Nashville after two wrecks on Pennyrile Parkway in Crofton Sunday night.
Christian County emergency personnel say a car occupied by Angelena Vasquez and Miranda Coombs was northbound 3 miles north of the Crofton exit when the vehicle ran off the road and up an embankment rolling several times.
Authorities believe one of the women in the car may have been ejected in the crash.
The driver and passenger were both treated by Hopkinsville EMS before they were flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries.
A second crash involving four vehicles reportedly occurred due to stopped traffic waiting for the first crash to be cleared.
A man was injured in the second crash and was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health then later flown to a Nashville hospital for his injuries.
