Officials with Christian County Public Schools have released their new attendance zone maps for the 2024-2025 school year, with links available on Facebook and through christian.kyschools.us.
Letters concerning and clarifying this matter were mailed to parents earlier this week, and should be arriving at homes Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
This includes letters and applications to parent/guardians of 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who may have the option to grandfather in to their current elementary or high school.
These grandfather clause applications are due back to the Department of Pupil Personnel office by March 8.
The hardship and employee choice window is now open for all CCPS families, and new hardship considerations will need an application through the Board of Education Central Office. The deadline for the employee choice application is Friday, March 22. The deadline for the hardship application is April 19.
From 8 AM until 3 PM Friday, March 1, at the Christian County Middle School, parents can embrace kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year. Online registration also opens for the rest of CCPS.
Wednesday, March 20, CCPS officials will notify parents/guardians by mail with confirmations of grandfathered applications and intent to remain at one’s current school for the 2024-25 school year.
