A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for all of western Kentucky beginning at Noon Monday and remain in effect for 12 hours.
NWS Paducah Lead Forecaster David Humphrey said while forecast confidence remains low, there is a chance for wet snowfall – that could create a slushy accumulation.
Humphrey added whatever occurs on Monday will not stick around long and should not cause any hazardous traveling conditions.
Humphrey said there could be a narrow band of heavier snow that produces intense snowfall rates for a brief period.
