A Trigg County man was charged after he allegedly assaulted a woman and left two children alone in an apartment on Dean Road Saturday morning.
Cadiz Police say 24-year-old Frank Stott got into a fight with a woman over her not giving him money for drugs and he assaulted her and took her phone from her.
She reportedly escaped the apartment and went to get help then Scott locked her out and left their 2-year-old and 8-month-old alone in the apartment.
He was located and taken into custody on charges of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), endangering the welfare of a minor, and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
