A Missouri man was charged with assaulting a Hopkinsville Police Officer on Conference Center Drive Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the James Bruce Convention Center in reference to an intoxicated man who was causing a disturbance and located 25-year-old Tyler Miles.
Miles reportedly threatened multiple people including officers and headbutted an officer damaging the officer’s glasses while being arrested.
He is lodged at the Christian County Jail on charges of third-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree criminal mischief, alcohol intoxication in a public place, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree assault of a police officer, and resisting arrest.
