A wreck on Old Madisonville Road near Morris Lake Road sent two people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a moped was northbound when the driver Tiago Montoya lost control causing it to run off the road.
Montoya was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for head injuries.
A juvenile passenger on the moped was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
