Authorities have released more information about a wreck on South Jessup Avenue in Hopkinsville that sent a Hopkinsville woman to the hospital Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were attempting to stop a car driven by 16-year-old Prezel Loudermilk of Hopkinsville on West 2nd Street for reckless driving and he disregarded the stop sign and hit another vehicle driven by 42-year-old Reeshemah Grooms at the intersection of South Jessup Avenue pushing it into a parked vehicle.
Grooms was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
Loudermilk reportedly fled on foot after the crash leaving three juveniles in the vehicle but he was later located and taken into custody.
Authorities have not released a full list of charges for Loudermilk.
