Man Charged After Christian County High-Speed Pursuit

A man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit in Christian County Sunday night.

Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Interstate 24 near the Pennyrile Parkway exit and the driver fled at a high rate of speed.

The pursuit crossed into Trigg County where the driver reportedly exited onto US 68 then got back on the Interstate going back into Christian County.

Police say the pursuit ended on Kentucky 117 near the intersection of Cox Mill Road when the driver exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.

The driver’s name along with a full list of his charges have not been released.
