A crowd gathered at the Hopkinsville Community College Round Table Park for the unveiling of the 58th “Round Table Literary Journal” on Thursday.
HCC English faculty editor Caitlin Chester thanked those who helped create the book.

Joseph Largé was among the presenters and read his piece “Living in the Shadow of the Atom.” It’s based on the town where he was born and raised in Richland, Washington, which to this day is still referred to as “The Atomic City.” Richland was one of three towns that were used to develop the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, His hometown made the plutonium that filled the bombs and “Fat Man,” the bomb dropped on Nagasaki.
