A woman was injured in a wreck on US 68 at Main Street in Cadiz Monday afternoon.
Cadiz Police Chief Tyler Thomas says a truck driven by Rodney Slack of Hopkinsville was eastbound on US 68 when it collided with a van that was crossing US 68 from Jolly Way driven by Belinda Whisman of Cadiz.
Thomas says witnesses stated Slack disregarded the stoplight at the intersection.
Whisman was transported by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for her injuries. Cadiz Police were assisted by Cadiz Fire Department, Trigg County Rescue, and Trigg County EMS.
