A Paducah woman was charged after a wreck on Rocky Ridge Road Sunday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says he was called to the area for an SUV in a ditch with severe damage and found no one in or around the SUV.
Later in the day, a man reportedly called dispatch and reported his girlfriend had just had a crash.
Acree says the driver 29-year-old Justice Cordova admitted the crash happened the night before when she swerved to miss a deer.
She was cited to court on the charge of leaving the scene of an accident. Acree says they are continuing to investigate the crash and believe alcohol may have been a factor.
