A wreck on Russellville Road in Christian County sent a Russellville woman to the hospital Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Kadence Brown was northbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way when she failed to stop at the intersection of Russellville Road.
The car traveled through the intersection and down into a cornfield.
Brown suffered a severe cut to her head and was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to meet with a helicopter that flew her to a Nashville hospital.
Deputies were assisted by the Highland Fire Department and Hopkinsville EMS.
