There will be no services at this time for 82-year-old Steve McGehee, of Cadiz.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife of 53 years, Karen Sievers McGehee;
Two daughters, Karie Pepper (Glenn), of Virginia, and Tina Davis of Hopkinsville;
Three grandchildren, Joseph Pepper, Laura London, and Jasmine Woodard;
Five great-grandchildren, Meilani London, Milena Kaneer, Asher Kaneer, Amara McGehee, and Shamir Woodard;
Four sisters, Bonnie Morris (Bob), Connie Anderson (Roger), JoAnne Fields (Tom), Carolyn Furio (John), and sister-in-law, Rita McGehee;
And two brothers, Ronnie McGehee and Larry McGehee.
McGehee died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at his home.
Born November 17, 1941, in Trenton, Kentucky, he was the son of late Rev. Chester and Margie (Mullen) McGehee.
He proudly served his country as a gunsmith in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, he spent his career in automotive manufacturing, working as a foreman at Phelps Dodge until its closing, and then as a machine operator at Johnson Controls.
Steve was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. He enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing and being with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny McGehee, and sister-in-law, Nina McGehee.
