Law enforcement is investigating a possible stabbing that happened in the area of Pennyrile Village apartments Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a 40-year-old man who had wounds consistent with being stabbed. Police say they are continuing to investigate adding it’s unclear where it happened and what led up to the injuries.
The man was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment of his injuries.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as first-degree assault.
