A traffic stop on Eagle Way in Christian County led to drug charges for two men Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Jeremiah Maule for no registration tag and driving slowly.
During the stop, law enforcement K9 Zico reportedly alerted on the veachile, and two pipes and over 10 pills were located.
A passenger in the car 44-year-old James Fritz was also arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
Maule was arrested and charged with no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, driving on a DUI suspended license second offense, and first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
