Betty Sue Holt, age 81, of Hopkinsville, passed away July 11, 2024, at her home of natural causes. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 15, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Nick Stamps and Shane Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11-2 Monday, July 15, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Holt was born on August 27, 1942, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late Wes and Mary Simpson Young. Betty was a homemaker and was a member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Holt in 1999.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Kenny) Outland of Christian County, and Regina Jones of Christian County; her brother, Kenny Young of Christian County, her sisters, Carole Adams of Shepherdsville, KY, Shirley McIntosh of Christian County, five grandchildren, Brittney Cansler, Bethany Outland, Brianna Kramer, Jessica Jones, Justin Jones, nine great-grandchildren, Danny Cansler, Landon Cansler, Molly Cansler, Bryce Strode, Everly Jones, Timmy Outland, Hattie Makemson, Corbin Jones, Willa Jones, and her great, great granddaughter Ellee Cansler.
The family request that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Gideons International.
