Woman Charged With Possession Of Meth

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession after being arrested on warrants on the Rails To Trails near the library Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they arrested 32-year-old Deisaray Lovelace for a warrant for failure to appear and during the arrest found a syringe loaded with meth next to her cigarette pack and a meth pipe within throwing distance of her.

After she was reportedly put in the back of the officer’s cruiser, the pipe was located and she claimed the pipe was not hers but could not see what the officer picked up.

She is charged with possession of meth and public intoxication.
