A pursuit with a stolen vehicle in Tennessee crossed into Kentucky and ended on Pruitt Lane in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Tennessee law enforcement terminated the pursuit at the Kentucky state line. Still, a Nashville Metro Police Department helicopter continued to follow the vehicle giving them the SUV’s location.
The driver 27-year-old Dustin Duley reportedly exited the interstate onto Pembroke Oak Grove Road before coming to a stop and put his hands out the window on Pruitt Lane and was taken into custody.
The SUV was reported stolen Tuesday in Bowling Green and Duley had a warrant for violating a court order and aggravated assault out of Tennessee.
He is being lodged in the Christian County Jail on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, and fugitive from another state.
Deputies say several agencies were involved including Nashville Metro Police, Clarksville Police, Pembroke Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and The Montgomery Sheriff’s Office.
