A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a truck driven by Heather Ballard on Marietta Drive due to active warrants and she fled at speeds of 60 mph.
The pursuit ended when deputies used a pursuit intervention technique on Pennyrile Parkway near the Pembroke Road exit.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, failure to or improper signal, third-degree assault of a police officer, and first-degree criminal mischief.
She was also arrested on the warrant for probation violation.
