Funeral services for 88-year-old Maxine “Mac” Croft Gilford, of Hopkinsville, will be 1 PM Thursday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Her brother, Gaithel Wayne Croft, of Gracey;
Her sisters, Norma Croft, of Hopkinsville, and Kathy Paulette, both of Hopkinsville;
Her grandson, James William Gilford (Ashley);
Her great grandchildren, Jace and Bryleigh;
And several nieces and nephews.
She died Monday August 19, 2024, at Christian Health Center.
She was born July 18, 1936, in Hopkinsville, the daughter of late Johnny Clyde and Elza Gaynelle Fuller Croft.
She worked at Hopkinsville Clothing and Flynn Enterprise. She was a member of Chosen Stone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Gilford, her brothers, Larry Clyde Croft and John William Croft, her great Nephew, Johnny Ray “Hubba” Clyde Martin.
