A Cadiz man was charged with assault after a fight with his girlfriend on Rich Circle in Trigg County Monday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area for 54-year-old Johnny Austin who had been drinking and kicked, punched, choked, and threatened to kill his girlfriend.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree assault domestic violence, and first-degree strangulation.
