With “National Video Games Day” around the corner, one national company is hoping to celebrate with a unique opportunity.
Officials with highspeedinternet.com are going to pay two gamers $1,200 each to play their favorite video games for 12 straight hours.
With only a few days remaining before decisions are made, more than 1,500 have applied.
These gamers will be asked to play any type of video game on any console or device, and the task can be done anytime during the month of September.
On top of the $1,200 paycheck, those selected will also receive a $50 Uber Eats gift card and $100 towards gaming purchases.
The deadline to apply is Friday night, August 30. Applications can be found at highspeedinternet.com/resources/gamers-dream-job.
HighSpeedInternet.com will notify the winners via email anytime between September 3-5. Additionally, they will announce the winners on social media accounts September 6.
Sharing a Twitch profile, or applying with a friend, will help the application standout among others.
