Our nations flag was carried by Mark Mcgee as he made his way through Main Street in Cadiz on Wednesday in honor of those lost in 9-11.
Mcgee said that his goal was to do something different for the special day.
He said that the people he met while walking all had positive reactions to what he was doing, with a few even shedding tears.
Mcgee said that while wearing a full firefighters uniform was hot, it was completely worth it. He added that he plans to walk again next year.
