A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on North Drive Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Dustin Hill for stopping past the stop sign and in the crosswalk.
During the stop, police say Hill gave consent to search the vehicle, and he was found to have a substance believed to be cocaine in his possession.
Hill’s passenger, 24-year-old Paige Holliman, was reportedly also found to have a pill believed to be fentanyl.
Holliman was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl. Hill was also arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, disregarding a stop sign, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
