A South Dakota man was charged after allegedly pulling the emergency brake on a train in Hopkinsville Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old James Goheen was found to be riding on the train and pulled the emergency brake, then jumped off and walked away.
When an officer tried to talk with him, he reportedly ran at him, causing the officer to pull his gun before taking him into custody.
Police say Goheen’s eyes were dilated, and he could not tell them where he was or was going. He was arrested and charged with menacing, public intoxication, third-degree criminal trespassing, and prohibition against damage, disturbance, or disruption of railroads, trains, or tracks.
