Diane Dupree Meredith, age 74, of White Plains, KY, formerly of Cadiz, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 24, 1949, to the late Calvin Dupree and Lillian Dupree Johnston.
Diane was a devoted wife and mother and a hardworking homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her hands were rarely still as she focused on her sewing. She and her late husband, Ronald, worked together each season to grow a large garden, providing the bounty for her delicious meals, and Diane would tend to the flowers she had planted. She loved animals, enjoyed fishing when time allowed, and was an avid reader.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Meredith; her parents, and a brother, Leroy Dupree.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Kaminski (Micah) of White Plains, KY; and two sisters, Jonnie Lafoy (Scott) of Signal Mountain, TN, and Cindy Lee of Orlando, FL.
There will be no services at this time. Interment will be at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
