Beate “Bea” Krohn, age 95, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
She was born on May 28, 1929, in Bad Wörishofen, Germany, to the late Michael and Theresia (Russ) Hof.
Bea dedicated many years of her life to the hospitality industry, where she excelled as a hotel manager in Germany.
A devout soul, Bea was known among her friends and loved ones as a prayer warrior. She loved the music of Elvis, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and took pride in caring for her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Krohn, on November 14, 1987.
She is survived by her dear friends, Maria and Daniel Bruzewski of Cadiz, and a niece, Brigitte Just (Peter) of Augsburg, Germany.
Graveside services will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Ft. Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY, at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2024, with Father Gregory Trawick officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
