Roger E. Jeffers, 90, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 8:51 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at his residence.
Private services will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Onieda, TN he was born December 6, 1933 the son of the late Howard and Evelyn Jeffers. He was a graduate of the University of Wyoming. He was the former partner and manager of Hopkinsville Broadcasting Company (WHOP). He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of First Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Sherry Jeffers; his son: Daniel Winningham Jeffers; his granddaughter: Hali Stokes Gagne’; and his twin brother: Loyd Jeffers.
Survivors include his wife: Ann Foster Jeffers; his children: Bonnie Jeffers of Hopkinsville, KY, Sherrill Jeffers (Jim) Isenhower of Washington D.C.; Will Campbell of O’Fallon, IL, and Suzanne Campbell of Hopkinsville, KY; his sister: Nola Jeffers Lay of Crossville, TN; his nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews.
