Law Enforcement Joins Community And Churches For Faith And Blue Day

Law enforcement officials from the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies joined with some area churches to host Faith And Blue Day Sunday, October 14th.

Activities were held at the new Genesis Express Intergenerational Community Center on Jefferson Street. Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says the event was a great way for law enforcement to connect with the community in a positive way.

This was the fifth anniversary of National Faith And Blue Weekend that began as a way to build mutual respect and understanding between community members and law enforcement.
