A man and woman were charged after they failed to stop for law enforcement after a report of shoplifting at Walmart on Clinic Drive Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a report of shoplifting at Walmart, located a vehicle leaving the area that fit the description, and attempted to stop the vehicle.
The vehicle reportedly driven by 37-year-old Marcus Love pulled into the mall parking lot and drove around the backside before returning to the front parking lot and coming to a stop.
Love and his passenger 28-year-old Mollie Neal were taken into custody. Love is charged with theft by unlawful taking, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
