A Hopkinsville man was stopped for his bicycle not having proper safety equipment on West 7th Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 43-year-old Hector Landa for his bicycle not having proper safety equipment to make him visible at night.
During the stop, he was reportedly found to have a glass pipe in his pocket with suspected meth residue on it.
He was arrested and charged with possession of meth and failure to comply with bicycle safety regulations.
