A wreck on Madisonville Road at the intersection of Kentucky 1682 sent five people to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a van was on southbound on Madisonville Road attempting to turn left onto Kentucky 1682 when it collided with a northbound SUV.
Five people including two children were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
One of the drivers was cited to court for not having two children in proper child restraint.
