Recent Thriller Used Historic Cadiz Home, Residents For Film

You may notice some familiar landmarks and faces in a recent movie release.

The recently released thriller, “Broken Innocence,” directed by Chase Dudley, Samantha Dudley, and David Siracusa, stars Sheri Davis, Paul T. Taylor, and Arianna Harris.

Trigg County EMS Director Jason Meador tells Your News Edge they were invited to be extras in the filming of the movie in Cadiz.

A good portion of the movie was filmed at the historic Fairholme on Main Street in downtown Cadiz. Other locations across Kentucky were used for it.

The movie description on IMDB says – “When a young girl suffers years of horrendous sexual abuse from her monster of a father, she finally breaks spawning a cold, hateful and manipulative teenager, that will stop at nothing, to get her own way – including murder.”

The movie has won multiple awards, including the Award of Merit at the IndieFEST Film Awards and Best Actor and Actress awards for Paul T. Taylor and Arianna Harris, respectively, at the Imaginarium Film Festival.

‘Broken Innocence’ boasts an 8.4/10 rating on IMDb, based on over 80 reviews, and has also received positive feedback on Amazon.

The movie is available on Amazon to rent for $2.99 or buy for $9.99 and is just over an hour and 50 minutes in length.
