A funeral mass for 77-year-old Anghela Bedor “Angie” Phillips, of Hopkinsville, will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, November 21, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday, November 20, with a prayer service to follow.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her husband, Juan Phillips;
Her son, Jerry Phillips, of Nashville, TN;
Her daughters: Malia Phillips Sylvain, of Bothell, Washington, and Lillian Phillips, of Nashville, Tennessee;
Her brothers: Russell Bedor, of Utah, and Masau Bedor, of Palau;
And her sisters: Bernie T. Keldermans and Akiko Sugiyama, both of Palau.
She died Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Koror, Palau, she was born May 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Bedor Bins and Ikelau Bedor. She was the manager of the Saints Peter & Paul Thrift Store for more than 20 years. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she also served on the Bereavement Committee.
