Patricia C. Lewis Boggess, age 88, of Crofton, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Baptist Health in Madisonville of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, December 6, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ridge Top Cemetery in Crofton. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Boggess was born in Empire, KY on September 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Hubert and Ruby Mart Lewis. Patricia worked for Dr. Shepherd and at Jennie Stuart Medical Center for over 15 years. She was a member of Crofton Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vernie Boggess in 2015; her daughter, Victoria Lyle; three brothers, Carmen, Larkin, and Guy Lewis and her sister, Tilly Gossett.
Survivors include her son, Brandon Lyle of Crofton; her daughters, Cassandra Toby of Crofton and Lisa Boren (Jack Kelley) of Eddyville, KY; her step-son, Anthony (Holly) Boggess of Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren, Kaz Toby, Zak Toby, Jennifer Winders, Nicholas Boggess, Wesley Boren, Amanda Lyle, Maverick Lyle, Makenzie Ramirez, and Trace Lyle and ten great-grandchildren, Sosafina Toby, Lilly Toby, Audrey Toby, Michael Cushing, Cadence Boggess, Nicholas Boggess, Paul Grace, Hailey Winders, John Winders, and Luke Winders.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
